Oil City's ninth-grade football team dropped to 0-4 following a 24-18 loss to Keystone.
Sam Owoc scored the Oilers' lone first-half touchdown on a 15-yard run.
In the second half, Evan Carll returned an interception 80 yards for a score and John Beach hauled in a 60-yard touchdown pass from Mitchell Eberle.
Oil City coaches Matt Amendola and Bill Heber lauded the play of the Oilers on both sides of the ball.

Oil City’s ninth grade football
team notched its first win
Thursday, beating visiting
Girard, 8-6.
Girard struck first, taking a
6-0 lead in the second quarter.
The Oilers (1-5) got on the
board and took the lead for good
on a 70-yard touchdown run by
Sam Owoc late in the third quarter.
Tyler Lockhart ran in the
go-ahead conversion.
Brandon Dickey forced
two fumbles and the Oilers’
Kyle Sampsell recovered both
of them. Lockhart grabbed an
interception.
Central Tech 30, Oilers 6
Oil City yielded 30 first-half points before scoring their lone TD early in the third quarter.
Scott Schwabenbauer had a pair of receptions to set up the TD, which was scored by Evan Carll on a QB sneak.
The coaching staff lauded Kyle Sampsell for defense.
The Oilers finished 1-6.
