have Tanner Hall calling the signals...Hall passed for 185 yards and a touchdown as the Oilers overcame a sluggish start against East...Jones returned a kickoff 84 yards for a touchdown and finished with 126 all-purpose yards before going down with an injury...McIntyre also was injured in tat game after catching a 16-yards pass...Jordan Way ran for 110 yards and a TD and Adam Brozeski caught four passes for 61 yards...
Oil City went to Warren next, and the Dragons hung on the the high-scoring victory, stopping the Oilers on the 17 in the last minute...Warren scored the first TDs of the game, but Oil City eventually took a 27-26 lead with 4:19 to play, but couldn't hold on...Hall passed for 172 yards and Brozeski caught six more passes for 96 yards...Ryan Heasley scored three TDs...Defending District 10 champion Strong Vincent scored on the first play of the game on a 77-yard pass en route to a 27-0 opening quarter...Hall threw TD passes to Brozeski and Ryan Skuse...
The Central game was a shocker, not only because the Oilers lost, but they couldn't score...Central's lone scoring drive came after an Oiler fumble in the third quarter...The Oilers welcomed Jones back against Corry, but the Oilers were without three linemen due to illness or injury, enabling the Beavers to control the line of scrimmage...Jones returned the opening kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown...Junior Drew Reinsel replaced Hall at QB to start the second half and completed four of four passes for 75 yards, one a 21-yarder to Brozeski for a TD...
General McLane, which would win the District 10 title and reach the Western Pennsylvania finals, scored the first three touchdowns of the game, and never looked back...The Lancers' vaunted speed (Drew Astorino, Ben Swank, Dan Skelton) was the difference...GML led 34-6 at the half, but the Oilers scored 30 points in the second quarter, preventing a "mercy rule" victory for the Lancers...Dante Jones scored two TDs, and Hall threw for two more, one to Reinsel and the other to Brozeski...The Oilers rushed for a season-high 209 yards...
The mercy rule did go into effect against Franklin with 7:19 to play in the third quarter...The Knights led 33-0 at halftime...."This was the wirst feeling I've ever experienced as a coach," Oiler coach Bill Heber said...The Oilers were penalized 10 times and committed four turnovers. Practically everyone had the Oilers counted out for the rest of the season, but they averaged 43 points as they won their last three games...

Meanwhile, Cody Emmett threw for 295 yards and four scores for Greenville...Three of them went to Phil Reasbeck for 54, 31 and 45 yards and the other went to Shawn Ferguson for 91...Reasbeck had four catches for 140 yards and Ferguson added three for 107...
