Brian Hahn was the only Oil City player named to the first team of the Region 5 all-stars.
Hahn was picked to the first team as an all-prupose back in the voting by the coaches that was handled by the Erie Times-News.
It makred the third straight season that the Oilers have had only one first team selection.
Hahn also made second team as a defensive back.
Four more Oilers made the second team: Brett Taylor at guard, Wes Paxton at center, Mason Marsh at defensive lineman and Josh Cherish at linebacker.
Marsh made the conference all-stars for the fourth straight year. He was an honorable mention as a freshman and junior and a second-team pick as a sophomore.
Patrick Kahle, who set Franklin single-season records for passing yaradage (2,082), TD passes (19) and completions (140) was named Player of the Year.
