No report could be found in either The Derrick or The Blizzard on the wins over Titusville on Oct. 13 and Oct. 20...Well, actually, The Derrick had a report on the second game, but it didn't even say who scored the touchdown...
A guy named McConnell scored the TDs in the Greenville and second Franklin games...The Oilers never crossed the 35 -- presumably their own, because in those days the other team's 35 would be refered to as the "Oil City 65" -- and their largest gain was 12 yards...Ike Cleaves had been playing end all season...
