Dave Detar: Penn State wrestling coach
Dave Detar, an "Oil City boy" -- and I'm assuming an OCHS graduate -- was an "intercollegiate" champion at 135 pounds for the Penn State wrestling team.

He wrestled for three years and was captain of the team in 1921 when Penn State was declared national dual meet champion after victories over Indiana and Iowa State.

Detar coached Penn State from 1922-24, compiling a 14-4-1 record. His 5-0-1 team in 1924 won the EIWA title. The Lions also won the EIWA from 1918-21..
